Ways to Show Your Customer Love This Valentine's Day


Love is in the air! Can you feel it? Make sure you send a little love your customer's way this month!


At MegoMedia, we cherish the relationships that we've built with our customers and try to shower them with love whenever the opportunity allows. So, since the day of love is upon us, why not take the opportunity to tell your customers just how much they mean to you?


Lucky for you, we've come up with some ways that the tried and true Valentine's Day traditions typically reserved for your sweetie pie can be refurbished for your beloved customers as well!


Send a love note


A handwritten note never fails to make someone's day and is a great way to show your appreciation! Tell your customers how much you adore them with a branded, handwritten note sent via good ole snail mail. Your customer will love the personal touch and time you devote to writing them a personal message.


If you can't get to the mailbox in time, a virtual love note wouldn't hurt either. Create something cute and thoughtful on Canva and send it via social, email or whichever form of communication you use most to communicate with your audience.


Give a thoughtful gift!


Do you know anyone that would turn away a box of chocolates? You know your customers best! What kind of gift could you send that would make them say "awww"?


For your favorite customers, kick it up a notch and stop by to deliver your special gift in person. This may sound old-school, but we promise. The extra effort will make their day.

Too many customers, not enough time? There's nothing wrong with gift in the form of an extra special discount off of the services they love most.


Say it out loud!


Everyone loves to hear just how much they're loved. And it means even more if you say it out loud. Share what you love about your customers via social media so that the whole world knows what your customers mean to you.



But, don't overthink it! Quickly type up something special and send it out in to your email list, social media stories, highlight it on your LinkedIn feed and throw it up on your Facebook page. Words of affirmation go a long way!


It's a date!


The way to your customer's heart may be through their stomachs. Take the opportunity to spoil your most valued customers by offering to take them to a dinner, game or event -- just because! There's nothing like a free meal to make someone feel special.


If you have too many customers to spoil in this manner, a fun way to mimic this for your social media audience is to offer a Valentine's Day giveaway for a romantic dinner for two!


Craft up a quick social post offering a nice gift card incentive for the lucky follower that tags their loved one in the post (this great way to gain some extra followers, too!)



Make it official


Valentine's Day is a great day to talk about the future. It's time to make a firm commitment to your customer.


Well... that's not exactly what I had in mind. But, here are some other ways to show that you're dedicated to a positive and lasting partnership:

  • Share your ideas for the future of your professional relationship (don't be afraid to think outside of the box).

  • Give them a sneak peak at your up and coming offerings (and maybe some special treatment in the form of a discount).

  • Show them you care about their goals by sharing how you can continue to support them (just asking "what else can we do for you?" is super impactful).

  • Tell them how you plan to exceed their expectations in the future (focus on how you can help them meet their goals).
